Dr. Andrea E. Carter & Associates

Dr. Carter was born in Jamaica Queens, New York. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Dowling College, then proceeded onto optometry school. Graduating from New England College of Optometry in 1985. Dr. Carter moved to South Florida where she practiced until 2001. At that time she decided to move north and eventually start her own practice. In 2005 she opened her practice in Stuart and has been enjoying helping patients ever since.

EYE EXAMS

We provide eye exams, contact lens fittings and provide information about laser vision correction. Dr. Cater and associates provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages in the Martin county area.

SPECIALTY EYE EXAM

Our doctors treat a range of conditions such as glaucoma, diabetic eye exams, dry eye and macular degeneration.

ANNUAL CHECK-UP

Annual comprehensive eye exams can detect vision problems, eye disease, and general health problems before you are aware a problem exists. It is recommended that adults have a comprehensive eye exam – not just a vision screening for visual acuity – every 1-2 years.
